Open Age

KBK Open Age/U-team plays an important role as a bridge between youth and senior football. It’s designed for players who are moving on from junior teams but are not yet ready to step into the first team. The team offers a space where players can continue training, developing, and enjoying the game, while staying connected to a competitive environment.

But it’s not just about the transition from youth to senior level. The U-team also provides opportunities for older players who haven’t yet established themselves at senior level to continue their journey. Whether you're aiming for a place in the first team or simply want to keep progressing and contributing at a high level, the U-team offers a valuable platform. It also gives KBK the chance to involve more senior players from the local area – strengthening our role as a community club and creating more opportunities for those who want to be part of our football family. This reflects our commitment to building an inclusive and supportive club environment for players at all levels.

At KBK, we understand that every player’s journey is unique. That’s why we’ve created an environment where players feel supported, recognised, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. Our development model focuses on key areas: technical, tactical, cognitive, physical, psychological, and social development. By working across all of these aspects, we aim to provide the right experiences at the right time – giving every individual the chance to reach their full potential, both on and off the pitch.

During the 2025/26 season, our Senior/U-teams will compete in Men’s Division 7 and Women’s Division 5, offering players valuable match experience and continued development within the club.
