Philosophy

We provide individual and team programs that ensure our players constantly develop their football leadership, fitness, knowledge and performance. Every player matters and we do everything we can to enable each individual to thrive in the learning environment that the club thinks it’s the most appropriate.

We value challenges and competition but we never lose sight of what football is really about: having fun. We want our players to love playing football so much that they remain involved with the game for life. This is our number one aim.

We coach our players to be good people first, emphasising core values of respect, effort, and fun, using the power of football to teach resilience, teamwork, humility, ambition, professionalism, and kindness.

Fewer than 1% of our players will go on to play professionally, as the stats clearly state, the likelihood of making it as a professional footballer are very slim, but not impossible. We want our players to dream big and we will try to do our utmost to develop every player that enters our programmes. Our coaching and match-day interactions are designed to ensure every player has a positive environment to develop their footballing skills and become the best footballer they can be. We aim to use the power of football to teach children and adolescents positive character traits. By having several protocols with professional clubs across Europe we try to provide the best possible professional and educational pathways for older players.

We prioritise process over outcomes by valuing hard challenges, learning from failure, the power of practice, and striving to compete. Our decisions are based on the development of children and adolescents as people and players.

KBK club rules and philosophy allows us to have clear principles to inform our practice and decisions, to ensure a consistent offering to all players, to build a recognised and renowned club identity.
